New Life Christian Center founded in 1995 as Mighty Strength of Jesus Ministries by Founding Senior Pastor Devin Oten, Sr. We have been an inner city church preaching and teaching Faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior of the world. Our Vision is to reach every man, woman, boy and girl with the Good News that we have an opportunity to live a New Life because of Jesus Christ. "Therefore, if any man be in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new." 2nd Corinthians 5:17, NKJV

The Lord instructed Pastor Devin to change the name of the ministry to New Life C.C. at the end of 2007. We are in the process of purchasing a new church facility as we sold the old facility which was heavily damaged  by Hurricane Katrina in August 2005. 

Mighty Strength of Jesus Ministries has now become the Arm under which our outreach ministries such as Missions, Media and In Kind fall.
