THE VISION
“Where there is no revelation (prophetic vision) the people cast off restraint; But happy is he who keeps the law.” --Proverbs 29:18 NKJV
Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ the Great High Priest gave Brother Devin a vision in the year of our Lord 1989. In this vision the Lord showed Devin a hammer smashing a rock with flames coming off the rock. He later showed Devin the Scripture reference Jeremiah 23:29; “Is not My Word like a fire?” says the Lord, “and like a hammer that breaks the rock to pieces?” The Lord told Brother Devin he would one day return back to his roots (New Orleans) and establish a work for the kingdom of Almighty God. This work officially began in October 1994 at the Westbank Howard Johnson Hotel. Devin was licensed to the Gospel Ministry in 1994 and ordained a Pastor-Teacher in 1995.
This vision produced the logo of the church.

The following statements underline some of, but not necessarily all of the proponents of the vision for the ministry:
1. Pray for city and churches.
2. Soul-winning main thrust.
3. Preach impending return and Judgment of Christ.
4. Minister to the whole man—spirit, soul, and body.
5. Build one family at a time in our communities.
6. Live in the Spirit of Excellence, Commitment, Diligence, and Integrity as God commands his people to live.
7. Live with inner-city compassion.
8. Be a light/salt to our community.
9. Build-up and encourage faith in Jesus Christ. 10. Challenge the existing faith of those currently in the Body of Christ. 11. Build up the inner-city man, woman, and child. 12. Leave an inheritance to our children. 13. Support foreign missions once home is established.
Habakkuk 2:2-3
“Then the Lord answered me and said: Write the vision and make it plain on tablets, that he may run who reads it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time; But at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.” (NKJV)
